Mid 19th Century Old Sheffield Plate & Amber Glass Flagon, Circa 1860

Description

This is an unusual and very decorative 19th Century amber glass flagon. Of classic form with an applied handle and Old Sheffield plate reeded rim. The flagon retains its original stopper, an unusual cork stopper with silver plated mount and beaded ring handle.

Dimensions:

Height: 24cm / 9 inches.

Width: 15cm / 6 inches.

Depth: 9cm / 3.4 inches.

Condition:

Glass in very good condition.

No chips, no cracks.

Stopper with a possible small repair where the bead handle joins the the top of the stopper.
