Description

A superb quality box in the style of s trunk with solid brass corners and a flush campaign style carrying handle inset to the lid.

The box comes with working lock and key, and once opened there is a retailer's signature from Algeria; "G. Bord, 16 Rue Bab-Azoum, Alger". The box maker's signature is also stamped in two places "M. G Paris".

The box is perfect for either a lady or gentleman with a removable leather covered tray, the fabric finish to the box has been professionally replaced, sympathetically done to produce a fresh and clean finish ready for another 100 years of use.

Excellent quality and condition measuring 9" x 6" x 5 1/4".
