Superb solid silver egg cup and spoon in original case. The egg cup is very attractive with a lovely raised border around the top and the base of the stand. The spoon is a lovely simple design with no decoration. Hallmarks are visible on both the egg cup and the spoon for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1937 on the egg cup and 1938 on the spoon. The silversmith''s maker''s mark is also clear for William Adams.&nbap; The set comes in the original brown leatherette case, with an attractive brass catch and a black velvet and cream satin interior. &nbap; A lovely set especially for a Christening! &nbap; Condition: Both the egg cup and spoon are in great antique condition.
