Mahogany Open Bookshelves with Drawers C.1860.

Description

Useful mid 19th.c. mahogany open bookcase c.1860. Taller than many we see with six adjustable shelves (depth 10") which can be arranged as preferred in two 20" wide cases providing over 13 feet of shelf space. Plus two good sized drawers below. Mahogany veneered carcass, shelf and drawer fronts. Applied carved mahogany corbels, turned mahogany drawer knobs. Raised on a moulded plinth. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
