Antique Mahogany Tray Top Table

19th century
Description

Very unusual small tray top antique mahogany table with a deep compartment inside. I believe it’s actually Georgian & is in excellent condition. I think it was designed to hold bottles or something else & has handles in the sides. It has grooved straight legs which are chamfered inside. I need to have another look at the construction, but I’m fairly sure it’s from the 1790’s period.
