~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled & working ~~
This is a superb, decorative antique French clock and candelabra set. Beautiful Rococo waisted shape with "C" scrolls, shells and floral swags.
The set is very well modelled in gilt brass which has a lovely clean and bright finish. Dial is particularly pretty, enamel on copper decorated with delicately painted floral swag. Candelabra are complete with Rococo finial snuffers. The four arms are delicately modelled as entwining foliage, standing above urns with 'c' scroll handles. The set is of very good quality with crisp, sharp and finely detailed modelling and the gilding has a lovely clean and bright finish.

The French movement is of very good quality and runs for 8 days and strikes half-hourly on a bell. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker who has also replaced the pendulum. Click the video clip below to see and hear the movement working!

Condition of the case is excellent with a bright and clean finish, some minor wear on the high spots. Dial is also in excellent condition with just a faint hairline across the 6 o'clock. The candelabra arms are very slightly distorted. The set looks great as you can see in the pictures below!

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
