Description

1945 Tissot pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement, calibre 43, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 1643393 dates it back to 1945. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is marked as being argentan which is an alloy containing nickel. The inner case back is signed with the Tissot logo. There is some unevenness to the hinged back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and has Breguet style hands, a good sized subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red 24 hour numbers.

The watch comes with a single rope twist chain, 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
