Attractive and original paintwork and maker’s badge to the inside. Some minor damage to the face and a few chips from the costume.

Begun in the basements of The Louvre itself in the late 18th.c. the Ateliers de Moulage (or moulding workshops) supplied fine quality reproductions of the museum’s greatest sculptural treasures to museums, art schools and private collections across the world. They continue to this day, using traditional techniques and still based in Paris
