1913 British Military Omega Pocket Watch, Indian Issue

1900 - 1920
Description

A 1913 British Military Omega pocket watch. An enamel dial with oversized Roman numerals, indicated by 'cathedral' hands. The dial is signed 'Omega Swiss Made' as opposed to 'Fab Suisse' indicating it was made destined for an English speaking country. A base metal case showing the British Military broad arrow mark above 'I', which was the mark for military issued pocket watches given to service members posted in India in the early 1900s. Serial numbers date this watch to circa 1913.
