Description

A very superior, Art Deco, solid silver sugar sifter, lovely proportions and exquisite design also a good solid heavy gauge silver. The pierced top with neat finial pulls off to allow filling.
Hallmarks are visible on the body for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1934. Maker's marks are William Neale & Son . The date letter and the lion passant also appear on the rim of the lid. The base is marked with the retailers name Dyson & Sons Silversmith Leeds.
A lovely item in antique collector's condition.
