Description

Gents 9ct gold Trebex wrist watch, 1964.

The watch has a Swiss 21-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch is a good wearable size at 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1964 with a case maker's mark for the British Watch Case Company.

The back of the watch has an inscription from Stanton & Staveley (ironworks in Ilkeston, Derbyshire).

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has its original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a Trebex presentation box which has the Stanton & Staveley name on the lid.
