A Fabulous Overlay and Gilded Bohemian Cologne Bottle

Description

A gorgeous example of 19th Century overlay glass. This lovely piece is of ovoid form with a flared rim and original matching stopper. The body is cased in sapphire blue over clear and cut through in the Bohemian style with slice panels and strawberry diamonds. The panels and borders are then extensively gilded. An eye catching and usable piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks. There is some slight loss to the gilding, commensurate with age and use.
