Description

A pretty set of four Biedermeier blonde-wood dining or side chairs, early 19th century, the backs with an inlaid ebonised design of lions and leafy scrolls over three shaped, ebonised splats, with stuff over seats and raised on square tapering legs.

88cm high, the seats 46cm wide at the front, 39cm deep and 45cm high.

In good overall condition, a few chips to the veneer in places but otherwise very sturdy and clean.

The chair seats have self patterned green upholstery which I can have replaced by my upholsterer. I currently have a stock of the black and gold star embroidered fabric illustrated in one of the photographs which would complement the chairs very well. Please contact me for further details.
