Antique silver Waltham Traveler pocket watch, 1919.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 1975 2129 which dates it back to 1914. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover signed with the original retailers name Barrow Clark & Co, Peterborough & Boston.

The watch itself measures 50.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1919 with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison who was heavily involved in Waltham before emigrating to the UK to set up a watch case manufacturing company. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The glass lens has minor marking from use although very acceptable.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham. The dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
