Narrow Marble Top Marquetry Bank of Drawers C.1890.

Description

Beautiful little late 19th.c. marble top bank of drawers c.1890. Just 19? wide. Original iron red marble top within a brass moulded edge over a chest of six small drawers (big enough for A4 paper). Rosewood veneers with marquetry work design of flowers inlaid in contrasting timbers to the drawer fronts and front stiles. Further inlaid stringing to the sides and plinth which also featured a brass moulding. Raised on the original short turned feet. Oak drawer linings and back panel. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for each drawer.
