Two Similar Oak Lorraine Chairs. Circa 1730

Description

Two similar attractive 18th. century French Lorraine chairs or back stools, also known as 'nun's' chairs. Both in fine un-touched original condition with a couple of very minor repairs. A little very old and very dead (treated) worm. Superb rich colour with great waxed patina. Would split at £225 each.

Size; 36" high, 18" - 14" wide, 12" deep, 17" high seat.
