French Louis Xvi Style Bronze Gilt and Porcelain Mantel Clock

Description

An excellent quality French Louis XVI style bronze gilt mantel clock with bowed sides, moulded edges and scrolling design finished with two griffins and urn to the top. The clock has delicately hand painted sevre style porcelain panels of flowers, birds, putto and woman with child within a green border and has a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.

The movement is stamped with the makers name:-

The back plate is also stamped with the retailers name:-

The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
