The mirror itself also tilts and the angle can be adjusted by the screw on the back. The middle table section of the stand spins around and has two lift up compartments which are lined in floral paper.
The whole piece is in good original condition. It has developed a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are various small marks, stains, knocks and signs of use and age but nothing detrimental or untoward.The mirror plate is original and slightly spotted but not in a detrimental way. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
