Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
With oversized brass studs to the edges of the leather and topped with turned brass finials. Solid oak frames with arched tops, shaped and pierced detail below the leather backrest and square stiles joined with shaped and pierced stretchers to each side. Clearly stamped for maker’s G.Gassman of Wien (Vienna) to the rear of each seat. Excellent condition with only minor wear to the leather, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
