Antique Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch, 1901.

1900 - 1920
Description

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 10225143 which dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the bottom edge but overall it is in nice condition for a 1901 piece.

The watch glass has slight nibbling to the outer edge although hardly noticeable.

The white enamel dial is signed A.W.W.Co. Waltham, Mass. The dial has a couple of faint surface scratches and a short faint hairline between 11 and 12 but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
