An Edwardian ash, beech & elm smokers bow elbow armchair by J Elliott & Son, the shaped back with turned spindle supports, with figured elm seat and double H stretchers, the back rear of the seat stamped 'J. Elliott & Son'.

James & John Elliott was a chair maker from High Wycome in the Chilterns.
