A stunning and exceptional example dating to around 1880 and originating from France.

This pair is decorated with wonderful cobalt blue enamel with a stunning glossy shine showcasing the small gold crosses or stars which enhance their appearance.

The wheel which adjusts the focus and the two eye pieces are made from sought-after iridescent Mother of Pearl shell.

Stunning in every sense, the enamel decoration perfect, the mother of pearl without damage and the optics just as good. Measuring 4 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" tall extending to 3 1/2". Complete with original leather case.
