Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The light with a shaped hanging loop, and ringed socle, above the shaped octagonal stem, with a ringed and waisted knopping, held within a rising leaf cup, the orb holding the scrolling leaf branches, sweeping up to broad drip pans, centred by rounded vase candle holders. The orb finished with an onion shaped finial. Good patination throughout.
