The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This particular watch has a Swiss 23-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some surface marking from use.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has London import marks for 1923 with the importers mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case has light surface marking from use and some mild bruising to the back but overall very acceptable for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is in super condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
