Antique Aesthetic Mahogany & Ebony Triple Breakfront Wardrobe Compactum C1890

Superb Antique Aesthetic Mahogany and Ebony Triple Breakfront Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded cornice above a carved frieze with ebony moulded edge. To the centre Breakfront is a full length shaped mirrored door set within a mahogany frame with ebony moulding and with carved corbal support to each side with ebony moulded column. This is flanked on either side by a moulded panelled door with ebony moulding and to the sides a further carved corbal to the top above an ebony column. All the doors have there original ebony turned knob handles. Internally and to each side it is all hanging and to the centre there is half hanging space with a sliding tray drawer above two long drawers. The base of the wardrobe has ebony moulding to the top above three moulded panelled Drawers all of which are mahogany lined with ebony moulding and with turned ebony knob handles with attractive carved leaf feature. The whole being raised on a plinth base with ebony moulding and separates for ease of transporting.

This is a superb quality wardrobe.
