Description

A magnificent antique Edwardian mahogany Arts and Crafts dressing table with mirror back and painted detailing dating from circa 1900. It comprises two small drawers raised on a gallery above 2 small and 1 large drawer. The original adjustable bevelled swing mirror has a shaped pelmet and is flanked by 2 serpentine supports and has painted floral motifs to the top and edges of the mirror frame. To the drawers are beautifully shaped drop ring handles. It stands on square tapered legs with its original ceramic casters. In good original condition made from beautifully figured mahogany with a good warm colour. With furnishers label to back: “W. & A. Chapman Ltd. Furnishers Taunton.”
