A Delightful Victorian Silver Dog Whistle

A large silver dog whistle from the Victorian era. This handsome piece is of good size, works perfectly and has a large attaching ring for a fob chain or chatelaine. Whistles in hallmarked silver are always in demand and a Victorian example is an added bonus. A good collector's item, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Good, with no splits or holes. There are a couple of minor surface blemishes, commensurate with age and use. The whistle works well.

Hallmarks :- Soft with some losses. Date letter, partial mark and Victorian duty mark visible.

Width :- 1.5 cms. (widest point).
