Description

A Set of Five 19th Century Engraved Decanters.

The decanters, each with a chamfered stopper, setting within the broad rims, above the tall chamfered necks, spreading to the chamfered shoulders. The long cylindrical bodies, finished with a chamfered panel, and star cut base. The bodies engraved with corns and barley, or grapes and vines, as appropriate to the titles: BRANDY, SHERRY, CLOVES, HOLLAND, WHISKY.

Date c 1830.
