Decorative English Antique Silver Handled Magnifying Glass - 1896

Description

A really very decorative magnifying glass which would look splendid on the grandest of desk-tops.

The highly decorative handle is a good Victorian one, made from solid or sterling silver, with a cartouche each side, the front having a decorative " A " engraved on it. The silver ferrule is where the hallmark for Birmingham 1896 can be found.

The magnifier itself is of course new, making quite usable today with a crystal clear lens and good magnification.

A good large size measuring 7 3/4" in length, the glass having a diameter of 3 1/2".
