Victorian Sterling Silver Heart Pill Box - Birmingham 1895

Description

Pretty as picture, this charming and romantic pill box is made from solid or sterling silver and hallmarked on the underside for Birmingham 1895, a wonderful 19th century example and stamped with the makes mark CS*FS for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings -Frank- Shepherd.

The domed lid is hinge with the hinge in perfect working order and fits well, the interior is beautifully gilded.

Excellent condition, measuring 1 7/8" x 1 3/4".
