Small Georgian Cherrywood Lowboy C.1800.

Description

Small late Georgian cherrywood lowboy side table c.1800. A delightful piece of vernacular furniture and quiet rare in cherry. Just 30" wide, two plank top with a crisp moulded edge over three little drawers with cockbeaded fronts and neat rope twist handles. With an elaborately shaped apron to the front and sides and raised on slim turned and tapering legs with pad feet. With an old repair to the apron (below the centre drawer), otherwise good condition and lovely mellow colour.
