The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality calibre 10.86N 15 jewel movement (three adjustments) which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 4,958,361 dates it back to 1929.
The main case is 14ct gold and is marked as such inside the case back. Originally the watch would have had wire lugs but somebody has gone to the expense of having these professionally replaced with sturdy gold plated lugs which are much more robust than wire lugs. There is a little wear to the plate if you look closely.
The curved lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
