A Superb Quality Satinwood Sheraton Revival Cabinet with Polychrome Detail

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality satinwood Sheraton Revival cabinet with polychrome detail. Having a raised galleried back above a satinwood veneered top of bow front outline, with a finely decorated frieze and having a central bowed glazed door enclosing a silk lined interior and glass shelf. The glazing bars also having finely painted detail in the form of arrows and laurel leaves. The lower panel depicting the arts. Each end with a bergere panelled door with a cherubic painted panel, above two rectangular mahogany lined drawers. The ends with finely hand painted detail all standing on square tapering supports with spade feet. English circa 1900 in the style of Angelica Kauffman

Dimensions: 56" high x 49" wide x 13" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed

A fine quality satinwood Sheraton Revival cabinet with polychrome detail.
