Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
There is an integral pen stand to the back which would accommodate two pens.
Inside, the two glass liners are intact and without damage.
A superb and rare find in excellent condition, measuring 5" x 2 1/2" x 4" tall to top of pen rack.
The side of the inkwell has the English sterling silver hallmark, quite rubbed with the makers mark HM and I think for London, possible 1917.
