A fabulous 17th century English marquetry credence cupboard richly decorated with fine carvings, ebonised turnings and lavish marquetry. The cupboard is of typical form having a single cupboard and drawer above a pot board.

The cupboard was most likely made by Flemish craftsmen working in London in the 17th century, it is quite possible this is a Southwark piece.

The cupboard has been sympathetically restored in the 19th century having restorations to the base. The cupboard is superb condition and a real focal point.
