The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The stopper has matching twisted fluted stripes and the collar has a stylish flared quatrefoil shape rising around the stopper. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1901, makers Walker & Hall.

It measures 28cm (11") high and 10cm (4") wide and has a capacity of 700ml / 1 1/4 pints.
Condition is very good and ready for use; there is a small bruise to the glass under the edge of the collar which doesn't detract from use or looks. No chips or nicks to the glass, the stopper is perfect and no dents or repairs to the silver. Minor signs of age and use, some light and appropriate scratching just inside the base of the silver collar and just a couple of tiny marks inside the glass.
