Description

A beautiful oak office chair dating from the early 20th Century, originally made in America. It is a good comfortable chair and is excellent quality. It has a lovely shape with a high back and stylish curved arms. It has four splayed legs with the original brass castors. The chair swivels on a large bolt and also tilts backwards when you lean back in the chair.

It is approximately 47" (120cm) high, the arms are 22 1/2" (57cm) wide and the seat is 20" (51cm) deep.

It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks here and there and signs of age but nothing untoward or detrimental. The seat covering is in good condition with no major splits or tears and a lovely aged patina with tarnished brass studs. The mechanism for tilting and swivelling is in good solid working order.
