The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Recta Watch Mfg Co, Swiss, 15 jewels, 3 adjustments. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s watch. The inside of the back cover has numbers and initials lightly scratched on it.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the retailers name A.Yewdall, Leeds and is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes on a vintage sterling silver chain with tassel fob which measures 25cm long including the T bar & clasp. The chain & tassel fob weigh 30.4 grams in total
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
