Description

Very stylish pair of Swedish antique Satin Birch armchairs that have just been fully re-upholstered in a cream fabric. They are in excellent condition, having just been French polished & I would date them to around the 1910 period, or perhaps a little bit earlier. These chairs have very generous proportions & beautifully shaped polished frames. I particularly like the wide curved arms with the subtle carving below. The satin birch is also a lovely blond colour. I suppose they are very much Biedermeier style.
