A Small 16th Century Wrought Iron Dome Casket

Description

A small 16th century wrought iron dome casket having three iron studded strap hinges and hasps fixed over a solid hand forged body and having a small loop handle at the top. The interior having a later gold painted finish with remnants of the original sprung loaded locking mechanism.

Condition - some surface pitting to areas and the underside. Part of the locking mechanism missing ,other than this its in very good condition.
