Description

A nice Victorian provincial silver strawberry set of sifter spoon and cream ladle in red silk and velvet lined leather case. The spoons have gilded bowls, crinkled rims and pretty engraved and embossed decoration and the handles are engraved front and back with a vacant cartouche to the front of both. Hallmarked for Exeter 1869, maker Thomas Hart Stone.

They measure 16cm (6 1/4") long and 5cm (2") wide across the bowls. The case measures 20cm (7 7/8") by 13.5cm (5 1/4") and 4cm (1 1/2") high. The combined silver wight is 66g/2.1ozt. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs, very light surface wear and the case is also in great condition.
