W.R. Harvey & Co. (Antiques) Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

Ca. 1830
Height: 80”, 204cms. Width: 66”, 168cms. Depth: 18.5”, 48cms.
Note: The anvil at the centre of the frieze is most unusual and may denote the ownership of this rather special dresser and could also represent the influence of the nearby slate quarries on the design. This piece probably comes from Blaenau Ffestiniog.
