A VERY ATTRACTIVE AND SMALL MAHOGANY COLLECTORS CABINET FROM THE ARMY AND NAVY NATURALIST DEPARTMENT CIRCA 1900. DESIGNED TO CONTAIN A COLLECTION OF BRITISH INSECTS. THIS CABINET WOULD LEND ITSELF PERFECTLY TO THE HOUSING OF A COLLECTION OF JEWELLERY OR MANY OTHER SMALL ITEMS.
THE DRAWERS RUN SMOOTHLY AND EACH HAS A SLIDING GLASS TOP. THE INNER DRAWER BASES HAVE A SHALLOW LINING OF CORK UNDER PAPER. ORIGINAL WORKING LOCK AND KEY PRESENT.
