Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
It has a solid 18ct yellow gold case and is fitted to wonderful design solid 18ct gold bracelet which which has the Rolex logo on the clasp.
It is quite stunning with a silver coloured dial which is in perfect condition. A new glass has been fitted and the watch and bracelet professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.

As you would expect is is marked Rolex on the dial and movement.
The calibre 650 movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case is large and measures 23mm wide not including the crown.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6.5" or 165mm but it can easily be reduced by removing some links and can be done by any competent jeweller.
It also comes complete with a quality wooden presentation box.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
