Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina. It has an attractive bow-front with inlaid bone escutcheons and is set on sweeping bracket feet. The drawers have small brass ring handles which, although they are not original, look great and are in-keeping with the style of the chest. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside with just a few marks and there is lining paper in the top drawer.

It is in very good condition for its age. The drawer fronts have been re-polished and have a wonderful colour and grain. There are the usual small signs of age and use, some minor marks and small old repairs but nothing detrimental. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
