An 1824 English Georgian fusee pocket watch by W Lock, Bath. A silver case with engine turning and a vacant cartouche to the back. Case back inner holds a historic watchmakers label. An high quality silver dial with central engine turning and gilt Roman numerals. A fusee mechanism signed by maker W Lock, Bath and numbered 2300. London hallmarks date this watch to 1824.

William Lock of Bath was a fine maker of clocks and watches and worked from 1824-1830 in Union Street.

Case width 51 mm.
