A LARGE MAHOGANY, LOCKABLE COLLECTORS, BOOK TYPE DISPLAY CABINET WITH REMOVABLE GLAZED TOPS. CIRCA 1900.

USED AS A DISPLAY AND STORAGE CABINET FOR INSECT SPECIMENS THIS BOOK TYPE BOX HAS BEEN RE-CORKED AND PAPERED AND IS READY TO BE USED FOR A DISPLAY UNIT FOR ANY NUMBER OF TYPES OF COLLECTABLE. THE BOX HAS A WORKING LOCK AND KEY AND THE GLAZED TOPS HAVE BRASS TABS TO KEEP THEM SECURELY IN PLACE WHEN CARRIED.
