Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks, knocks, and scuffs underneath the polish, as might be expected on a desk of this age, but nothing too major. There are old repairs to a crack in the timber to each end (sound and not moving, see detail photograph).
