Description

Antique Chronomètre Louis Boon pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has details of the movement and also the name and address of Louis Boon, 15 Place Verte, Anvers (Antwerp).

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver with a rose gold wash to the bezel and the perimeter of the hinged case back. There are Continental hallmarks inside the case back. The case is in good condition, just a few marks to the side but nothing too serious.

The watch glass has small marks but barely visible to the naked eye.

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with beautifully ornate numerals, ornate hands and minute markers picked out in gold paint.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
