Description

A terrific vintage English sterling silver inkwell of rectangular form with cut-outs to the four corners of the base to rest a pen.

Very stylish and fabulous quality having been made by the top-notch silversmith, Deakin and Francis. There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1933, Art Deco in style and era.

The hinged lid has a smart engine turned border and once opened reveals a glass liner within, removable for refueling and cleaning.

Excellent condition (single stubborn mark on left hand side, mentioned purely for accuracy) measuring 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 2" tall.
